I was at the orchard on Sunday and was told that there would still be apples and pumpkins to pick, late in October. I went a little funny in the head and wound up picking almost 30 lbs of apples. They’re so good!

Besides pick your own, the farm stand has already picked apples, pumpkins, cider, jams, etc. and there is food to buy. They also sell the best damned caramel apples I’ve ever had! The hayride to the pumpkin fields is $3/person.

Bring a picnic lunch (with some to share) as there are picnic tables at the orchard.

If you want to carpool, we will leave Barbara’s house at 10:30am. It is about a 30 to 45-minute drive to Homestead Farm. Or you can meet us there. Just let Barbara know!
