Circle Notes:
This month’s Circle is a potluck. Please bring a dish.
Becoming’s monthly Circle of Connection is our core tradition. It is here that we come together to build and strengthen our connections with the world around us, each other, and the Divine. The road to membership in Becoming begins and ends with the monthly Circle of Connection.
The circle provides a safe space to temporarily step outside of the hectic pace of our daily lives to re-affirm our relationships with the divine that infuses everything that is. It is a time of thanksgiving and healing with caring and fun people.
The monthly Circle is held on the second Sunday of the month from 12:00pm to 1:30pm, with lunch following. We usually hold a classes or discussion on a variety of topics afterward from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.
This month’s class will explore the elements of a working circle. One of Becoming’s members will discuss some approaches to deepening understanding of spiritual magical work, using examples of well-known elements from neopagan practice.
Please read the Newbies Guide (pdf) before attending your first monthly Circle of Connection, even if you have attended other Becoming events.

We had about 20 people at circle — all friends and members.
Nancy rang the bell. Mark honored the elements. Esther led us in honoring deity. Evan blessed the bread and wine.
Our working this month was focusing our attention on the connection between the earth, our foundation, and our feet.
We then shared and fluffed, and welcomed Diane as a new member.
After lunch, Mark taught a class on elemental systems and how they have been used to deepen understanding of the world around us, energy flows, and ritual.
