Sponsored Events
As part of Becoming’s mission to respect and encourage the personal spiritual paths of members, each is invited to “sponsor” a ritual/circle of their devising. These observances may take many forms, as long as they do not violate the core tenants of Becoming.
All observances and events may not be appropriate for all audiences and age groups. Please contact the individual members referenced on event detail pages, or Becoming’s Steward, if you have any questions or concerns about a particular event.
Along with holiday rituals, classes, workshops, and other events, Members are encouraged to sponsor a “Member Sponsored Saturday” (MSS). This Friends and Members only event, is held on the fourth Saturday of each month and can a ritual or just a social event. As Members claim a Member Sponsored Saturday, the event will be added to the calendar. Here are examples of events that Members are sponsoring as MSS events:

– Fieldtrip to the U.S. Botanic Gardens
– Imbolc ritual
– Beltane ritual
– Memorial Day Walk
– Crafting a Wheel of the Year Tree
– Four Elements Picnic
– Wine making and Wine bottling events
– Rosh Hashanah ritual
– Moon rituals
– Exploring the Trees at the U.S. National Arboretum
– Heart Circles
– and various classes
