My voice is in the earth and my song is in the trees
Hear me in the sap and the strength of the leaves
My horns protect the weak and my hooves keep safe the small
I reach out to the city-dwellers and they hear my call
To remember when their kindred dwelled among our kind
And I spoke to the paganus mind-to-mind
To join them in love with all things that grow
And create a world in which all know
To guard without fences
The poor and defenseless
And to connect with every root and flower
To draw upon the greening power
