Members

Being a Member of Becoming is like anything else -- you get out what you put in.  For some they are Members because they reached the minimum criteria and it seemed like a good idea.  For others, it took a long time and it was something they really wanted.  Some of our Members are really active, some aren't.

Why be a Member?

Good question.  If Becoming is an open group, and Friends get to be an active part of the Becoming family, why bother?  There are many reasons.

First, we hope you'll take pride in telling people that you are a Member of Becoming.  It demonstrates one of our core values - commitment.

As a Member, you also get to take an active role in guiding Becoming.  You get to vote on important issues to the group, sponsor rituals, and hold leadership positions.

The Journeys (pdf) is another great reason to be a Member.  The Journeys is a new program announced in January 2005 for Becoming members.  The Journeys is an individual way to gain personalized training in a variety areas like Ritual, Magick, Community Service, and Scholarship, to name a few.

Meet our Members

The best way to see what Becoming is all about is to meet our Members!  Coming to an event or Circle is one way, but we also have profiles of a few of them online. Our members come from many parts of the Pagan community.  Not that you have to be Pagan to be a member.  We have a great diversity of age, background, and spiritual path.
