Becoming is about connections. It was founded by a group of people trying to find a new way to stay connected, when their old way was ending. Connections are very important to me. Becoming is a place that people can connect with themselves, with their community, and with their Deity. I am grateful to be a part of this group, and honored to have the opportunity to be one its leaders.
Becoming is my spiritual home and family. Being a member means that while I may have different ideas or practices from other members, I’ll always be treated with respect and love and able to learn and grow. It’s also a safe place to try new things and get honest feedback. Becoming is the best of what family is about. Like any family it takes time to be integrated into it, but if you take the time to get to know people and what we’re about — you’ll find that you’ll have one of the most diverse and supportive families you could imagine. You’ll also have the annoying big brother, a couple of extra moms, that aunt who talks to loudly, and the cousin who won’t leave you alone….but that’s part of family too.
