Hello world!
I am sometimes surprised to find myself the Steward of a pagan church, considering that paganism - incorrectly or not - is associated with earth-based polytheism. You see, I consider myself a discordian pantheist. My beliefs are not based upon those of ancient cultures, I do not any recognize and gods or goddesses, and my definition of “nature” is not limited to rocks, bugs, and trees. Who says spirituality died with Stonehenge? As we say in Becoming, “the divine abounds everywhere and dwells in everything.” I’m just as comfortable looking for the divine in an iPod or bowl of oatmeal as I am in the rocks, trees, and the birds in the sky.
One of the beautiful things about Becoming is that we are all from different paths and different traditions, but are able to come together as one group and celebrate on common ground. In Becoming we relish in our differences and enjoy learning about each others spiritual practices.
